One of the most crucial aspects of an employee’s experience with an organization is the employee’s onboarding journey. If the experience fails to live up to their expectations, then your employee might regret their decision to accept the job offer. On the other hand, a memorable onboarding experience not only makes employees feel welcome but also helps them gel with their peers and managers faster.

So, to streamline the employee onboarding process even further and reduce the workload of the HR team, here is a list of enhancements we made to the onboarding module:

Custom Branded Welcome Pages

The new features on the onboarding suite allows incoming employees to be greeted with a custom curated welcome page and pre-read documentation videos to ensure that the seamless entry of the employee into the organization is fostered. The ability to put out information in multiple formats including videos, information about the organization, policies to sign-off, and pre-read documentation for the employees ensures their seamless entry into the organization.

Data Gathering Simplified

You can now choose to go ahead and curate onboarding processes according to the region in which the employee is being hired and collect region specific data from the employees.

You can also define custom fields that are integrated with the core directly and collect any kind of documentation automatically by employing an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and obtain a documentary sign-off as a result of the submission of the document wherein you could choose to get the employees to read documentation and get them to sign-off. You also can go ahead and define undertaking and statutory forms on the platform for the employee to fill up and submit from the portal itself.

Onboarding Dashboard

Onboarding administrators can now curate the onboarding journeys for specific groups of employees through multiple filters that are available on the new onboarding dashboard wherein they could define candidates who are in the various stages of onboarding. To initiate onboarding for a candidate, the administrator can choose from one of the custom templates created by them for that grade. They could also choose to assign buddies and teammates to the candidates, assign any attributional data and buzz people on the onboarding of a particular candidate.

Integrate with BGV Vendors Seamlessly

Once the onboarding has been initiated and data collected from the new joinee, the onboarding administrator can go ahead and define any inputs that they have on the candidate’s submission such as approving or declining data elements, either altogether or individually.

Multiple automated tasks could also be triggered depending upon the date of joining of the employee. WhiteHat Jr. onboarded over 18,000 new employees digitally during the pandemic, by ensuring that certain tasks were automatically triggered by predefined workflows.
